Submission Deadline for Nonprofit Tagline Awards Approaching
by Ashley High A 2008 survey by Gettingattention.org revealed that 72% of nonprofits do not have a tagline, or that nonprofits consider their tagline to be ineffective. This is a shockingly high number, especially considering the importance of taglines. Taglines “extent your organization’s name and mission, while delivering a focused, memorable and repeatable message to your base.” In order to encourage nonprofits to write successful taglines, The Getting Attention blog is hosting their annual 2009 Nonprofit Tagline Awards.
In order to register your nonprofit for the tagline awards, and to receive the 2009 Nonprofit Tagline Report with tips on writing and improving your tagline, click here. However, sign up fast because the deadline is Friday, July 31st.
